The Lord has need of (needed?) it…

What do you do the day after you are needed by the Lord? What do you do in that time after the elation of being in the centre of divine purpose and plan? What do you do if you were once the donkey that ‘the Lord has need of’  but know that when he comes next he will be riding on a great white horse?

There are probably times when all of us have felt like we used to be useful… I suppose the important question might be, ‘whose story is it anyway?’ Can we find peace in being a bit part in his masterpiece? Or do we want the whole plot to revolve around us and our sense of purpose and destiny?

Move over donkey, it’s time for the white horse…
